What is the ACF Coarse Filter?

The ACF Coarse Filter is a fully automatic system for removing large particles from water and process liquids. It is specially designed to protect pumps, pipe systems and other equipment from blockages or damage caused by solids. The liquid flows from inside to outside through a cylindrical basket fitted with wedge wire elements. Depending on the model, slot sizes range from 0.1 to 5 mm.

The system features a mechanical scraper or backwash mechanism that cleans the filter automatically. When dirt builds up, the filter initiates a cleaning cycle that takes just five to six seconds. For sticky or fibrous material, the scraper ensures effective removal. The construction is made from high-quality stainless steel (SS316L), suitable for industrial conditions and easy to clean with light acids when needed.
